Family Activities Pages: Transformed

I originally had no need to buy Heidi Swapp's Family Activities page inserts, but I thought about it for about a month and decided...yes I could use those for my blog.  So as you see in my posted photos below, I transformed them to fit my needs.  I love it and it works perfect for me.  So now you can see how you can transform them to fit your needs too; whether it's for your blog planning or something else. Decorate it up and ... Let's Plan Pretty Things!

Week 9...Decorated & Done!

This week was another really busy jammed packed week.  And of course I did a lot of decorating.  Last week was my daughter's 6th birthday, but this week was her birthday party.  So I included a little Heidi Swapp photo insert to showcase a few of her party pictures.  Then on Sunday it was father's day and I decorated for that with a photo and stickers that I found at my local Hobby Lobby.  Other things that I did this week (just to give you ideas of what to document in your own memory planners) were me blogging, taking the kids to the Summer Express $1 movies that the Regal Cinemas do every summer starting in June and a book that I started reading that I am really enjoying.  So hope my weekly posts keep giving you inspiration and ideas and ...Let's Plan Pretty Things!

Week 8...Decorated & Done!

This week I was feeling a lot better and I think the decorations this week are one of my favorites.  It was my kids last week of school and I was crazy busy.  I had a Build-a-Bear party for my Daisy Girl Scouts, it was my daughter's 6th birthday, I mailed happy mail to my friend Bridget in England, I had my girls Kindergarten and 6th grade graduations, scheduled our flights for our family vacation for August to Disneyland and Las Vegas and I got a like on a comment on Facebook from the Heidi Swapp to top it off with a cherry.  Lol!  I used one of Heidi's photo inserts to include pictures from the girls graduations and some cute graduation cap and other fun sequins to make a shaker pocket for decoration.  It was a fun week getting back into the swing of things with my planner and I love how it turned out.  So keep on planning and Let's Plan Pretty Things!

Week 7...Decorated & Done!

This week was kind of a boring week for me, but I'm going to share it with you anyway.  I was sick all week and didn't take any pictures really for me to document in my planner.  As you can see I just used some of my favorite alpha thickers to spell SICK and I did print out a picture from google images that says "Mom's don't get sick days".  That is so true...LOL. I just used a journaling card from my Heidi Swapp September Skies Core Kit from Hobby Lobby to do some journaling about my daughter and her school project she aced.  I was so proud of her and was sad I didn't get to see it.  Even if it's a sick week for you always remember...Let's Plan Pretty Things!

Mistakes "create" Pretty Planners

Today was a big day for planning in my family. We booked our first summer vacation in years and I got so excited that I started my later summer months just so i can start documenting and decorating. I started using my usual favorite Heidi Swapp calendar rub-on monthly numbers...and then I got distracted and put half the numbers in the wrong places...so I had to cover them up and fix it.
So when I screwed up on my September calendar I fixed it with some cute glitter gold circle stickers and calendar number stickers that I found at Hobby Lobby. I think it turned out pretty.

Week 6...Decorated & Done

This week started out fun and ended with a big bummer.  I celebrated my 39th birthday and did a little birthday shopping with my Hobby Lobby gift card from my little sis and...went to the beach to explore the tide pools with my daughter's Kindergarten class.  But the next day the weekend began I was sick with the flu or something like it all in weekend in bed.  Blah!   But as soon as I started to feel somewhat better I just had to dive right into my planner and journal and decorate my pages.  I know I know I am a little obsessed with my planner but is just so pretty and fun to do during my quiet times.  Hope I continue to inspire all of  you to Plan Pretty Things.

Cute Finds!

Hi everyone!  It's been about 10 days since I have blogged but I have been getting over flu like symptoms and acute bronchitis.  I'm on my way to recovery.  I have some super cute finds that I'd like to share with all of you.

These adorable paper bags I found in the Target dollar spot.  I think they would make cute pockets for your planner for receipts or memorabilia or just about anything.  The size fits perfect in your Heidi Swapp or any a5 size planner.

These are my cute find from the Michaels $1.50 section.  A pack of 4 wooden anchors in white...I just love these.  They also had them in a red color too.  I just had to pick these up and it makes a cute addition to the decoration of my Heidi Swapp Planner and they can be cute for you too.

I found my On-the-Go Unicorn Bag

OMG!  I was out shopping with my daughter and I found the one; my unicorn on-the-go bag for my everyday planner goodies.  I know last week I did a video showing my set up for on-the-go traveling bags, but I couldn't pass this opportunity up.  It was in my favorite color and it was exactly what I was searching for for the last couple of weeks before I put together my little everyday bag solution.  I found this at my TJ Maxx for $12.99.  What a deal.  I moved into it immediately and have loved it ever since.  Here are a few photos to show it off.  Let's Plan Pretty Things!

These are the 2 I showed in my video as week ago.  I still have the striped long distance travel one but I have replaced my daily on-the-go clear cosmetic bag system.

I love how this is small compact and holds a ton in a more organized way.

It holds a tons of stuff that I might want to use for that week or for the month.  It's awesome and my favorite color too.  Let's (keep) Plan Pretty Things!

Week 5...Decorated & Done

Hey there, it's a brand new week and May is coming to a close.  May has been an amazing month for decorating and getting to know my planner.  This week was a busy week but a fun week.  We celebrated Memorial Day, had a trip to the post office, worked in the office, celebrated my little sister's birthday, enjoyed the outdoors at the park with the kids, and finished the week with a family dinner at one of our favorite restaurants; Red Robin.  YUM!
So I hope I can continue to inspire you all and give you ideas for planning and decorating your pretty planners.  Let's Plan Pretty Things!
